Zeitgeist Places for People

Zeitgeist Places for People is a campaign in the Hillside neighborhood of Duluth addressing issues of active transportation through community organizing and demonstration projects. Its goal is to promote better street design that “prioritizes people, not just motor vehicles.” 

This campaign has facilitated projects that focused on community-building and increasing the walkability of the neighborhood, as well as led demonstration projects that were temporarily installed to better help people imagine and experience a potential new street design.
