Zeitgeist Parklets

Zeitgeist Parklets is a program that was first piloted in 2014 by Zeitgeist and has since seen permanent implementation in Duluth.

Parklets are “mini-parks”  that take over on-street parking spaces to provide tables, seating, green spaces, bicycle parking, or public art. They encourage a more vibrant pedestrian culture by facilitating social connectedness and promoting lively street life in business districts. An example is the parklet outside of Love Creamery on Superior Street.
