SEE Justice Fellowship Applications Opening Soon

Eco3's Environmental Justice and Program Development team collaborate with other programs to engage with Lincoln Park community members

Applications for Eco3’s Social, Economic, and Environmental Justice (SEE Justice) Fellowship will open February 1. This one-year program is designed for Black community members to lead sustainability efforts, strengthen their communities, and drive equity-focused change.

Throughout this fellowship, participants will engage in collaborative, community-based initiatives to create lasting impact. Fellows will work together to tackle challenges and develop actionable solutions that align with social, economic, and environmental justice principles. Community leaders and experts will facilitate workshops and presentations to foster ideas and initiate these solutions. Cohort work time will allow fellows to meet and collaborate with others.

The SEE Justice Fellowship will consist of five members who will each receive a $5,000 stipend for their year-long commitment. These five fellows will receive funding for travel and registration to The National Environmental Justice Conference and Training Program, where fellows will have the opportunity to submit a proposal for presentation. Fellows will also receive a personalized leadership plan and mentorship opportunities to strengthen personal capacity and individual development.
