About the Fellowship

The SEE Justice Fellowship is a year long fellowship program consisting of five fellows. The cohort will offer valuable insights into the community’s needs. Fellows will grow and engage with one another to empower their voices and foster change in their communities. 

This fellowship is intended for community members in Duluth, MN, looking to gain knowledge and skills to promote justice within their communities.

The SEE Justice Fellowship is a one-year educational program designed for community members who want to promote justice in their communities. Fellows will collaborate with others in the cohort to implement community-driven actions that foster long-term change.

Fellows will engage in various activities, including community organizing, participating in skill building workshops, and collaborate with local leaders, to address  challenges in Duluth. The fellowship will also provide opportunities for fellows to develop leadership skills and gain hands-on experience in the community. 

Each fellow will receive a $5,000 stipend for their year-long commitment. Additionally, fellows will have the opportunity to attend a national  conference, with travel, accommodation, and registration fees fully covered.  

The fellowship is open to community members who live or work in Duluth, Minnesota, and are interested in strengthening connections within their community. 

The fellowship runs from April 2025 to April 2026. Fellows are expected to attend two in-person meetings per month and complete related assignments, totaling about 12-15 hours per month. 

The fellowship involves a mix of scheduled in-person meetings, project work, and virtual and independent work. 

Yes. Since meetings and activities are tailored to the experiences of those who live and work in Duluth, applicants must be based in the area. 

Applications will open on February 1st, 2025 and close on February 28th, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.
