People for Bikes Duluth Rating
The People for Bikes Duluth Rating is a detailed city scorecard of Duluth’s Bicycle Network Analysis (BNA) score, which measures how well the bike network in Duluth connects people with the places they want to go, safely and comfortably.
In 2020, the city of Duluth scored 1.4/5 overall. The rating score is based on five major factors (ridership, safety, network, reach and acceleration). Each is scored on a five-point scale, and are weighted equally (20% each) to provide the overall score. Together, these factors provide an overall assessment of the current state of bicycling in a community and how quickly improvements are being made.
