Northeast Regional Sustainable Development Partnership
The University of Minnesota Extension Northeast Regional Sustainable Development Partnership (Northeast RSDP) works to address community-identified sustainability issues, focusing on Northeast Minnesota, in partnership with the University of Minnesota.
Three core principles drive their mission: building and strengthening partnerships between the U of M and the communities it serves; strengthening the long-term social, economic, and environmental health of NE Minnesota through active community leadership; and advancing the understanding of regional sustainability by investing in research, education, and outreach projects. The Northeast RSDP projects are generally in the areas of agriculture and food systems, resilient communities, clean energy and natural resources across the region.
