Ecolibrium3 is pleased to welcome a new staff member, Angela Johnson. Angela joins our staff as Partnership and Special Projects Developer. In this role, Angela will support ongoing work in many different program areas, from community resilience to food systems. Her first undertaking is planning and organizing Earth Week, an annual series of events, learning, and service to celebrate International Earth Day. In helping plan the festivities, Angela is working closely with every member of our staff and every aspect of our work. Angela is also developing fundraising and building corporate partnerships to strengthen and sustain our work in the community.
Angela brings a wealth of experience and skills to this position. She has spent over a decade working for maurices in merchandising, where she developed strong skills including collaboration, communication, negotiation, planning, leadership, and problem solving. She brings a corporate perspective and strong business acumen to her new role at Ecolibrium3. Angela credits her mentors over the years with helping her along the way, and says her time at maurices showed her what an impact business partnership and philanthropy can have in the community.
In fact, Angela was first introduced to Ecolibrium3 through maurices Best Day Ever day of service. After hearing our CEO and founder Jodi Slick speak at this event, Angela is now excited to be joining Ecolibrium3 as a member of staff.
Angela has lived in Duluth since 2009, and has fallen in love with the nature of northern Minnesota. She enjoys the outdoors by hiking and spending time at the lake with family. Angela is looking forward to getting to know the Lincoln Park neighborhood in her new role. Welcome, Angela!
