Minnesota Environmental Partnership

Minnesota Environmental Partnership (MEP) is a coalition of over 70 Minnesota organizations. The marquee issue that MEP is focused on for 2020 is climate change. MEP helps both individuals and other organizations find and connect with groups in Minnesota that are developing and implementing climate solutions. 

The Partnership works to change policy that helps to fix water pipes and infrastructure, provide clean water supplies, improve transportation, and shift towards renewable energy. The partners write group sign-on letters to lawmakers, and connect citizens to their representatives. 

Right now MEP is focused on projects that will reduce exposure to lead in drinking water, increase support for and interest in renewable energy, and protect water from sulfide mining. By empowering citizens to create change and providing them with the resources and knowledge they need to do so, MEP is ensuring a sustainable future for all.
