This February will usher in the 2022 version of Love In Lincoln Park and although the weather has been extra chilly lately, Main Street Lincoln Park businesses are offering Valentine’s Day activities that will warm your heart.
Many folks have enjoyed the Lights On! events for Halloween and the Winter Holidays, so Lincoln Park is doubling down to shine some light on the district during these dark days of winter competition among district businesses. The City of Duluth is also getting in on the action with the first Lincoln Park Light Projection featuring local artists. Both events offer a total of a dozen bright spots to visit in Lincoln Park when the sun goes down. The Light Projection will be taking place from February 10 – 14 at Aerostich and the Children’s Museum from 6 to 10:30 pm. Lights On! With Love is happening now until February 14th at Kirsten Aune Textiles, DLH Clothing, North Shore Federal Credit, Frost River, and Two Loons.
LOVE THAT BINGO! Gives both evening and daytime visitors a chance to win prizes by visiting Lincoln Park businesses to collect a BINGO. Flora North, Dovetail Café/Duluth Folk School, Wild State Cider, Bergey’s Sports Bar, Kirsten Aune Textiles, DLH Clothing, Ursa Minor, North Shore Federal Credit, All American Club, Frost River, Warrior Printress, Duluth Pottery, Two Loons, and Bent Paddle are all playing along, so explore some new-to-you Lincoln Park businesses from now until February 14th for a chance to win.
You may notice a theme… both of these events encourage folks to get out and about on foot and are also part of the Lincoln Park Winter Wander during the Winter Bike Week. A brisk walk (holding hands with your sweetheart, maybe?) outside is great for your mental health and certainly makes you appreciate the warmth shown in the Craft District. You can find more about Love in Lincoln Park activities here and also at Love In Lincoln Park.
