Local Foods Local Places Initiative

The Local Foods, Local Places Initiative is focused on developing a better local food system in the Lincoln Park neighborhood in Duluth. In partnership with the US EPA and USDA, Ecolibrium3 held a Local Foods Summit in the fall of 2019. The summit generated specific areas of focus and a multi-stakeholder steering committee was created to advance a substantial list of action items. This locally-led, community-driven effort prioritizes land use planning, local food production, and equitable access to healthy food.
