Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve
Located on the St. Louis River Estuary between Duluth and Superior, the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve focuses on advancing public understanding of the importance of stewardship of the Great Lakes estuaries and coastal resources. The reserve works to support water quality and healthy ecosystems, and to address climate change through research, education, and outreach.
