The Institute for a Sustainable Future is a not-for-profit organization in Duluth working towards improving ecological health through advocacy, research, consultation, and education. Recognized nationally for its work in reducing mercury pollution and building sustainable food systems in universities and hospitals, it has also authored a numbered of reports including The Western Lake Superior Good Food Movement 2013 Status Report and A 20% by 2020 Local Purchasing Toolkit: A Report to Support Local Food Purchasing in the Western Lake Superior Bioregion.
