Farmers Markets
Farmers markets provide an opportunity to buy produce, baked goods, local artwork, and more from local growers and producers, supporting our local food economy. There are many farmers markets in Duluth:
Downtown Farmers Market:
This outdoor market is open every Tuesday from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Gitchi Ode’ Akiing park. At this market, you will find farm fresh vegetables from local growers, baked goods from local businesses, and local artwork.
Duluth Farmers Market:
This market has been providing farmers and local producers a space to sell their products for over 100 years. The market is located at the corner of 14th Ave E. and 3rd St. and is open every Wednesday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and every Saturday from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., May through October. In addition, the market allows SNAP customers up to a $15 match through the Market Bucks program. All kids that attend the Duluth Farmers’ Market get a free $2 Power of Produce Club token that they can spend at any booth, on any market day.
Hillside Farmers Market:
This market takes place at the Damiano Center parking lot every Tuesday from 2-5:00 p.m., June through September. This market is operated by Seeds of Success, a program focused on increasing healthy food access in Duluth. This market provides a $15-dollar match for all SNAP participants and also runs the Power of Produce Club, which gives youth and children $4 each to use at the market to spend on fresh produce.
Lincoln Park Farmers Market:
This market takes place at the Harrison Community Center every Thursday from 3:00-6:00 p.m. The market operates from June 25th to October 1st. This market is also operated by Seeds of Success. This market provides a $15-dollar match for all SNAP participants and also runs the Power of Produce Club, which gives youth and children $4 each to use at the market to spend on fresh produce.
