Fair Food Access Campaign
The Fair Food Access Campaign was a collaborative project of Zeitgeist, Duluth Community Garden Program, Community Action Duluth’s Seeds of Success Program, Duluth LISC, CHUM, and community members who sought to improve access to fresh and healthy food within the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Current solutions that the campaign members worked on include increasing garden space, supporting the Lincoln Park Farmers Market, improving transportation options to and from grocery stores, and empowering community capacity. Zeitgeist Center for Arts and Community continues to address food access with a new focus in the Hillside Neighborhood of Duluth.
