Play is a vital part of a child’s development, and increasing a child’s access to play is the mission of the Duluth Children’s Museum. Ecolibrium3 has partnered with the Duluth Children’s Museum through AmeriCorps VISTA Marissa Major to increase the educational capacity of the Children’s Museum. Marissa is working on a number of awesome initiatives, including assisting with the creation of a social justice curriculum for preschool-aged children.
Duluth Children’s Museum exists to engage children in hands-on learning through interactive exhibits and creative play. The nonprofit play space impacts our community by allowing caregivers and children to play together and build deeper relationships. We’re so thankful for this important resource for the community and the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
The Duluth Children’s Museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday noon to 5 pm. And, check out the Free First Friday, when entrance to the museum is free the first Friday of each month from 5 to 7 pm.
