EPA Environmental Justice Screening and Mapping Tool
The EPA Environmental Justice Screening and Mapping Tool (EJSCREEN) allows users to select a geographic area and provides information about that area’s racial, income, and age demographics as well as environmental information such as levels of certain types of air pollution and lifetime cancer risk due to air toxic inhalation for the area.
EJSCREEN has helped spotlight the disproportionate environmental burdens faced by certain communities and serves as an important resource to protect those most vulnerable to pollution.
