Eco3’s Energy Training Corps program has officially begun this winter following the recruitment of our first members and opening of applications for spring and summer positions.
Since January, Eco3 has brought on a Project Management and Administrative Lead, a Recruiter and Educator, and a Program Developer to the Energy Training Corps team. We will continue to grow the team this spring with the hiring of Crew Members. Members will serve from May to August, gaining hands-on experience in the energy sector. They will learn and apply basic concepts of home energy performance and construction protocols and also have the unique opportunity to practice program development skills through member and household recruitment and community education. The Energy Training Corps program equips members with the necessary skills to cultivate a career in the energy trades, while helping residents reduce their energy costs.
The program is open to anyone 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED. We are searching for service-minded individuals wanting to make a difference in the community.
