Clean Jobs Midwest 2023 Minnesota Executive Summary

The Clean Jobs Midwest Report, by Clean Energy Economy MN, takes a look into the clean energy sector and how it is growing across the Midwest. Federal data shows much of the U.S. is seeing job growth for the clean energy sector and Minnesota is no exception. In Minnesota, clean energy businesses across the state added more than 2,415 workers in 2023, now employing 62,102 Minnesotans, a new state record. Clean energy and clean vehicle jobs also set a record in 2023, increasing by 4%.  Small businesses are at the forefront of Minnesota’s clean energy sector, providing 71.2% of the state’s clean energy jobs.
