Eco3 has a number of AmeriCorps VISTA Positions available, so you may be wondering: how do I apply for AmeriCorps?
Here are a few steps to find a challenging position that’s right for you!
1. See if you are eligible to serve:
AmeriCorps VISTA Requirements:
- Be 18 years or older (no upper age limit)
- Pass a national service criminal history check
- Hold one of the following citizenship statuses: US citizen, US National, Lawful Permanent Resident Aliens and persons residing in a state that have the following legal residency classifications: refugee, asylum or asylee, temporary protected status, or deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) status.
2. Create a profile on MyAmeriCorps.gov. See what information is required for your application on this checklist.
3. Search for Position Listings: search in the state of Minnesota or use the name “Eco3” to find Eco3 positions.
4. Learn about VISTA Benefits and Why You Should Serve in Duluth on the Eco3 VISTA webpage.
5. Submit your application to the Eco3 position you are interested in by June 30th!
